Our Visual Journey

Explore our gallery showcasing the impactful work of PAMWG in combating fungal diseases across Africa.

PAMWG, working with strategic personnel and facilities, has been committed to bridging this gap, embarking on the mission by capacity building for targeted clinicians (who manage the at-risk patients), and laboratory scientists in Africa. In collaboration with the Medical Mycology Society of Nigeria (MMSN) and the Nigerian Fungal Disease Surveillance and Capacity Building (NIFUSCAB), and with sponsorship from Pfizer, the PAMWG led by the chairperson Dr. Rita Oladele, held her index intensive training of clinicians and laboratory personnel on invasive fungal infections in January 2024, at the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, Telemedicine Hub and Medical Mycology Reference Laboratory, Lagos, Nigeria.
